Author Guidelines

On this page you can find instructions and templates for preparing your manuscript for EUSIPCO-2013. Please write and format your manuscript according to the guidelines below. The paper must be submitted as a single pdf file.

Document Formatting and Templates
The maximum number of pages that will be accepted is 5, including all figures, tables, and references. Any documents that exceed the 5 page limit will be automatically rejected. A font size no smaller than 10 points should be used throughout the paper.

The detailed instructions in relation with the maximum number of pages, the font size, the maximum length of the abstract, etc, are detailed in the paper example (.pdf) file below. We strongly recommend use of the templates below.
The authors should also check that the following formatting conditions are fulfilled by their submitted manuscript:

  • there should be no headers/footers/page numbers
  • all fonts should be embedded
  • there should be no links
  • there should be no bookmarks
  • the title, authors' names, and authors' order should be the same as the data included in the EDAS system

Please note, that the EUSIPCO organizers cannot assist the authors in solving concrete problems related with the formatting of the paper. In addition, the authors can also refer to the EDAS help tool and the FAQ's available here. We encourage authors to prepare well in advance their papers to avoid last-minute problems with the formatting close to the deadline.
The following style files and templates are available for users of LaTeX and Microsoft Word:

Initial Paper Submission

Paper submission takes place as follows: Enter EDAS by clicking here. Select the appropriate track, fill out title, keywords, author information, abstract, and choose topics. You will then receive an email with details for uploading your pdf file. Note that upon acceptance, a final paper must be submitted (along with a filled-out copyright form).

Final Submission & Copyright

Authors of accepted papers must submit a signed scanned .pdf copyright form assigning the rights to the submitted work to EUSIPCO-2013. The form must be submitted no later than June 30, 2013 jointly with the final paper submission. Should the authors fail to submit the copyright form, the paper will be retracted and not printed in the proceedings or be presented at the conference. One filled-out form must be submitted for each paper with the signature of either one author on behalf of all the authors or by all the authors. The copyright form is submitted as follows: Download the form by clicking here , print and fill out the copyright form (complete with signature), then scan the form and upload it in EDAS as a .pdf file for each individual accepted paper. Note that you upload the file by clicking on the copyright symbol when viewing "My Papers" in EDAS. Then, submit the final version of your paper.
